My Breakthough Birthday Celebration

Since last year, I am having a theme for my birthday. Reason? Nothing. Kaartehan lang. So when August is finally arriving, I am already thinking of a theme for my birthday this year. After so much time spent thinking (lol!) I named it… Breakthrough at 23.

It is all about the things that I haven’t tried in the 22 years of my life and the things that I dream of doing but have no guts of taking a step until now. Exciting right? That actually challenges me to do variety of things before I will finally settle on one thing that would probably appeal to me in the near future. I have lots of fun and exciting task for myself and to share with you soon…

In this post, I will just show you some pictures from my simple birthday celebration last 21^st and 22^nd of the month. It is just me, my family and my best friend. Nothing big, nothing grand.

August 21: My Pre -Birthday Celebration

I started my day preparing my birthday meal. Carbonara. A kind of pasta meal with white sauce.

My ingredients… It’s just my second time cooking this pasta meal. But this time, the procedures and ingredients are quite far from the first time I did it. So, it exactly like new to me.

I got several burns while cooking at a big pot. But it’s okay. I have to do it for my birthday.

My Ate Aby bought 2 cakes. This is the first one. We ate it as a dessert for lunch. Apparently, it was for her. She’s celebrating a milestone of her life. I love the flowers though.

After lunch, I served what I cooked.

My best friend, Eunice, brought this roasted chicken with her. It was like a pot luck birthday party.

August 22: My Birthday

I started my day going at this church, Redemptorist Church at Baclaran . We don’t have classes. That’s the sad part. I was really hoping to spend my day with my girls and have mass with them. But its okay, atleast, they are safe.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Intercede for me. Amen.

I went to Mall of Asia after and head on at this kiosk.

I got my very first Jamba Juice in Mega Mango Smootie. Healthy drinker. lol!

I cooked again. This time, siomai. My favorite!

Blog Bitz 7: My Birthday Week (A Weird, Crazy and Unusual Week)

It was really stormy last week. Classes and even office works were suspended due to heavy rain that caused flood all over the streets of Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Though, it was an advantage for me, since I was writing the Chapter 2 of my thesis and it means more time to run through it, every time I see the down side of it- people that are suffering and being affected by flood, it breaks my heart.

Everything seems to be very unpredictable that time. Considering it was my birthday week. I cannot have a good plan for my birthday because I am stressed out of my school requirements, lacks sleep and very tired. But thank God, the week passed and the people affected by flood are currently recovering from the damage brought by typhoon Maring in their lives.

With me, the week was unorganized. My blog bitz entries are still random because I cannot contain myself due to the fact that I am thinking about lots of stuffs. Anyway, this weekly post of mine should not be skipped. Though quite late, it is something better than no post for the whole week, I guess. Just to make it lighter, I decided to put the word “DAY” in every topic I got for each day of this week’s blog post, it is my birthDAY week anyway, so why not right?

SUNDAY: Dinner Day

This one is an epic dinner. Mom served glutinous rice flour balls with fruits and coconut milk for dinner or what is known to be bilo-bilo or ginataang halo-halo. This is usually served as a native snack here in the Philippines but mom opted to make it as our dinner. For me, a person fond of eating rice and being served by this one as a dinner, feels really weird about it but as I always say, better than nothing. Thus, just to make it fair to my mom, it is a perfect food for the cold and rainy evening plus, undoubtedly it is delicious. Yummy!

MONDAY: Braid Day

I will tell you a secret, lately I feel bored about the things that I am doing (Blogging not included.)  Maybe, I am just overwhelmed by the quantity of those and to crack up a little spice on my boring days like this; I try to do something different. With last Tuesday, I decided to loosin’ up and be a sort of kikay by braiding my hair with no apparent reason but… I just want to. So there, I try to do it on my own and the output is good (in my opinion). What do you think?

TUESDAY: Flood Day

Just to prove that Maring is really a strong kind of typhoon, she showed us her powers (*lol) and she flooded an inch of our kitchen floor. I am not use of flood in our house. It never happened since I had my memory. I can’t remember any event that we are flooded because of typhoon until last Tuesday. But thank God it is just an inch or just perfect to soak up your feet. Some of the books I placed at the lower case of the cabinet in the kitchen were badly affected but as of now, mom is ironing some of those to bring them to life again.

WEDNESDAY: Bestfriends’ Day

It is August 21 by this day. It is a holiday. The next day will be my birthday and my birthday is always a working day. That’s why, usually I am celebrating my birthday during the 21^st. Predicting that there will be classes and work the next day, I stopped doing my thesis and started to work in the kitchen (Yes! Sometimes, I cook…) for my birthday. My older sister, went out to buy a cake for me and invited my best friend to come over for our mini celebration. Ate Aby (my older sister) joked at my best friend to buy chicken to match with the Carbonara that I cooked. I never thought that she will take it seriously and at exactly 3:00pm, Eunice (my bestfriend) is at home with her roasted chicken (She just live a street away. lol).

I don’t see Eunice often since we gone to college but during special occasions, we still make time for each other. And to be a little bit crazy that day, I decided to braid my hair again but this time, with Eunice’s hair. She was really a supportive kind of best friend and she agreed (maybe because it is my birthday). And the output is absolutely perfect! Yey!

THURSDAY: Jamba Juice Day (My Birthday)

Last week, on my haul post, I told you about the recent online giveaways where I won nice prizes. One of those is from Sunday’s Avenue’s giveaway where I won a gift card with 200php to be spent at any Jamba Juice outlet nationwide.

During my birthday, I always go out to attend a mass or visit the church. I did the same this year. I went to Redemptorists Church in Baclaran and went to Mall of Asia after to do my grocery.

I saw the Jamba Juice kiosk there and use gift card for payment. It was my first time going to their place and I was alone. I just try their Mega Mango smoothies, since I love mangoes very much. It taste so good and you can feel the freshness of fruits in every sip. I love it!

FRIDAY: Hard Candy Eye shadow Day

Birthday gifts? I got a lot and one of those is a prize from a giveaway. This time it is from Pinay on the Loose’s Friday Flash Giveaway. And I got a mini palette eye shadow. I am not a pro in applying eye shadows, and usually I go without it but having this inspires me to learn how. Now, that’s unusual  with me!

SATURDAY: Zit Day

A week or more of sleepless nights left me a remembrance. It was a zit on my right cheek. I pacified myself thinking that it is a remembrance on how hard I worked. I hope it will vanish soon so that I can go with my upcoming projects already. If I just can put a magic on it… *Vabooommm!”

Blog Bitz Week 6: Random Hauls (Forever21 + SampleRoom + Body Shop + MORE)

Hey yah sweeties! I’ve been suppperrr busy these past few days. I really want to share a lot about the things I’ve been up to lately yet I always don’t have time left for blogging since I am working on almost three jobs- thesis student, teacher and office girl (well, actually being a teacher and the office girl should just be one but the demands at work are so much that it makes me feel that those are two full loads for me).

Anyway, for this week’s Blog Bitz, I will be featuring my Random Hauls that are actually can be equated as my pending posts. And given the situation I am now, I think that I cannot manage to run through them one by one but through this weekly post. Those are not accurately done day after day like the usual format of this post but it is still composed of 7 delightful ideas and equally informative and hopefully an enjoyable read. So let’s start!

First Haul: Forever 21

Oh yes! I made damage on my funds again weeks before. Whenever I am inside Forever 21, it makes me feel guilty in either ways. First, I may be guilty if I will not treat myself for a job well done or something I accomplish so I end up buying anything that might I actually don’t need. But on the other hand, after buying I feel guilty since I should currently up to save for something I want for future. However, sometimes I just can’t hold my control on myself especially when the things are on sale and it includes make ups and anything that is in pastel color.

In this haul of mine at Forever 21, I got my new set of mascara named Lash Extension Duo which I find really amazing, since it has a capacity to makes my lashes look fuller and longer (280php) and a Hint of Color, mint gloss (105php), both from Love and Beauty. Plus, I also catch a nice set of pastel hair goods that I don’t know where or when to use (160php).

I must say that even though I damaged my funds, those are still irresistibly good finds. lol!

Second Haul: Sample Room

Lately, I am not browsing through Sample Room so I usually missed out good items. But luckily, I was able to stumble upon this one. It is White Result Exfoliating Cream. It claims to leave our skin instantly brighter, smoother, deeply hydrated and free from impurities.

Since I am not really into experimenting beauty products on my face, I use this one on my elbows and knees. I like how visible it works since I can scrub out some impurities when I use it.

It costs 599php but at Sample Room, it is equal to 95points plus 100php shipping fee. Not bad!

Third Haul: Body Shop

This is the guiltiest haul I had here but since I am currently using the items I bought, I have no regrets. I really love The Body Shop already and it feels like I can’t miss out any of their sale especially when it is 50% ++ off.

In this haul I spent 1.6K. Aside from the items I purchased, I got 2 freebies of travelling essentials- Rainforest shampoo and conditioner which I took as a reward for my overspending haul (lol!). So what I got are: Olive Oil Shower Gel (you know I am always inlove with shower gels), Moringa Body Mist (which I got with 20% off since it is my birthday month. Woot!) and Extra Virgin Mineral compact foundation (50% off).

So far, I am really inlove with my Moringa Mist and I will surely get back to buy another when I finish my first.

Fourth Haul: Genevieve

Last Thursday, my belt got broken and in view of the fact that I just have one “formal” belt that I can use during working days, I decided to drop by Genevieve Gozum at Robinson’s Galleria to but myself one or two of it.

I love buying belts at this boutique because they sell it at a very affordable prize. Both belts I got were worth 50php each! (yeah! 50php only!) And I also like the fact they can adjust the size of the belt by punching more holes on it when I feel that it is too big for me. Plus! they got nice designs too! For this haul, I bought belts that are both black . The first one is garterized that I can use for my black dresses. While the other has a front lock and a tuck at the back with some embossed silver designs (I find it quite unique).

I also bought a set of earrings (composed of 3 pairs) for 75php! When you do the math, that makes it cost, 25php each only. And the designs are cute and really fun.

This is my affordable haul. lol!

Fifth Haul: Human Nature

Oh! Last Friday, I went to an ocular inspection with some of my fellow faculty members for our students’ field trip. One of our stop is Enchanted Village at Angat, Bulacan. It is a village of Gawad Kalinga providing people houses and a livelihood to use in order to improve their state of living.

The place is nice and beautiful. It also has good things to offer to their visitors like fresh air and products that are competitive in quality but affordable in prize.

I was surprised to see that there is a Human Nature boutique in the village. They got good products for beauty and wellness. I almost want to buy everything but because of my financial restriction to myself, I just bought a toner (which I badly need because I just run out of my usual brand).

I got Human Nature Balancing Facial Toner with Elemi and Orange suited for my skin that is oily to combination kind. I bought 100ml of it. Would you know how it cost me? Just 99.75php! Isn’t that a wise buy already?

Sixth Haul: Shop Now and Lhot’s Fashion House

Online shops are everywhere in the World Wide Web. But I just got two trusted line when it comes to my fashion apparels, and those are:  Shop Now and Lhot’s Fashion House.

I find their owners really nice and very easy to deal with when it comes to my transactions. Their items also depict the current trend in the fashion industry. They offer affordable prizes and sometimes, discounts and freebies! (Yey!) My last haul with them was just few weeks ago and I received the items I ordered already.

I got four items from Shop Now: a long pencil cut skirt, skater skirt, a blue studded blouse and a nerd cotton top. The transaction I had with this shop lasted for a week or more since her items are almost always run out of stock (talking about how in-demand are those!) but when I finally received the items, the long wait was paid off.

While at Lhot’s Fashion House, I got two items: navy blue minis dress and yellow blouse. Because of the reason of the slight delay of my orders that I mentioned already during my last week’s Blog Bitz, I also got a free item which is a red racer back laced top.

This haul made me very patient and happy! Thank you Katrina and Lhot!

Seventh Haul: I am Lucky- Itzmyuson, GenzelKisses,  SundaysAvenue

Lastly, a haul that I haven’t spend anything. Would you believe that? It’s true. Maybe I am just lucky. You know how fond I am with online giveaways and sometimes I am fortunate enough to win those. In this haul, I am happy to announce that I won not just one but three giveaways! (Yeah! It’s three!)

The first one is from Itsmyyuson. Her former blog is the one of the first blogs that I stumbled upon when I am still thinking of the topics that I want to put on my blog. Her blog is something that I visit almost every day because I really admire the cute layout of it. She also features fashion ideas that are refreshing to me. I find nice given that she always reply on my comments. I didn’t know that visiting her blog can be paid off by a great treat! I was her chosen Commenter of the Month (COM) for July and that makes it more than worthwhile. I received a Sophia Eyelashes Enhancer for this. 🙂

I also received items from GenzelKisses blog. I admire Genzel, the lady behind this blog for being so active on her blog which I can’t imitate at the moment. I won her recent Trio Beauty Giveaway collaborated with two other bloggers. I almost fail to claim my prize in this giveaway. Good thing Genzel is kind enough to recall the winners of this giveaway which that time, I was able to read. Oh, being busy sometimes makes me missed out good thing. lol! I love the items I got especially the Iwhite Korea Whitening Pack.

Lastly, I won Sunday Avenue’s Jamba Juice GC Giveaway. I received a 200php worth of gift card. It was really unexpected for since I sent an entry just once. But I must be really lucky. Blog Bitz Week 5: Best Things in Life

Hi sweeties! They say, that the best things in life are FREE. And for me, I have to try and see in order to believe. *wink*

SUNDAY: Prettify me

My Loyalty Card and receipt. I also tried out other services fro Lay Bare and it was indeed satisfying!

My regular waxing salon offers a good deal of price for their service. I visit Lay Bare (random branches) every two weeks to maintain my brows. And the prize of being a good costumer is a free eyebrow threading during your birthday month! Yes! Absolutely FREE! That’s why I cannot miss that opportunity and immediately went there as soon as I got my free day! Such an early birthday gift, right?

MONDAY: Job Well Done!

Monday is the opening program of our month long celebration of our national language. Here in the Philippines we are trying to instil to  our students the importance of our Filipino language and for that, August was declared  to be Buwan ng Wika (Language Month) in our country. As part of the teachers who organized the mentioned event, we got a free lunch! Yey!

Our menu? ADOBO. It is a dish made from pork or chicken meat (or both), soy sauce, vinegar and spices.

Last Monday, we got pork adobo with iced tea and dessert. Lunch? Solved!

TUESDAY: Hey! Surprise!

Chic and Sexy

I am an online shop buyer since last year. Though there are a lot of shops emerging all over around the World Wide Web, I still go back to the shops that I trust the most.

Recently, I had my online shopping with one of my favorite apparel shop- Lhot’s House of Fashion. I’ve been transacting orders to this shop since last year and she never fails to deliver items that are on trend but still affordable.

But the previous week, Lhot, the preggy owner of the shop informed me that she might ship the items I ordered quite late because of her condition. Actually, I don’t mind but she said that she will just give me something to cover up with the “damage” done which I think, not actually necessary.

Just when I received my parcel, I saw inside the package this red laced racer back top which is not part of order. It looks so good! Such a nice treat from the sweet owner of the shop!

WEDNESDAY: Stress Free Day

Yummy Treats!

My class is jammed pack during Wednesday. But little good things still come on my way.

During morning, a student approached me and gave me a doughnut because it was her birthday. Then, when I went to my table, I saw this red fruit called “rambutan” in Filipino, on my table from a kind officemate.

Wednesday afternoon, the classes were cut because of teachers’ meeting. Though tired and a bit late because I finished my class first, I still attended the meeting. My prize for being an obedient employee? A cup of well flavored and garnished porridge plus tofu and pork in soy sauce with my favourite spices.

Yum! Yum! Yum! Foods are really stress reliever.

THURSDAY: Rainforest

Oooops I did it again! (*while Britney Spears’ song is playing on my head) I got my guilty haul at The Body shop. And because it was sale, I enjoyed shopping. My bill exceeds in a certain limit making me avail these traveler size shampoo and conditioner in Rain Forest. Not that bad…

I am trying to get ready with my le BF’s birthday. These Ipad applications that I downloaded for free became so handy in editing pictures for my birthday surprise to him. Love it!

During these days, free items are rare, so I hope you will grab the opportunity when it comes. Or in a softer light, FREE stuffs are just around us, we just need to appreciate what we got and welcome the little blessings that are coming our way.

My Chinito’s 24th Birthday

I know he might hate it when he will discover that I am blogging about his birthday. He actually hate the thought of getting old, but me? I am always thankful that he’s getting old with me (maybe not physically but yeah, still with me).

We were both born on August but he arrived a year earlier than I am, but we’re batchmates. That’s how the story goes. We don’t know each other personally until we met two years ago through Facebook and the rest was history.

Yes, we’re in an LDR but I don’t want this night to pass by without making him feel how important he is to me (sorry for being mushy) despite of distance so I decided (as always) to make a simple AVP for my Chinito. He is actually look more Chinese with his eyes than me.

I chose the song Chinito by Yeng Constantino because when I first hear that song, what flashes into my mind are all image of him.  I also have chinito brothers but his eyes are very chinky than any guy I now.

Simple and not too dramatic. This year, I decided not to make him cry (because that’s what I did years back). The AVP I made for his birthday this year are composed of random pictures of him from our daily conversation in the web, some picture of us when he’s still here in the Philippines and my favorite quotes that inspire me (us) to strive harder in making our relationship work despite of distance.

Stripes, Florals and Black and White

Mix and match. That’s always been my fashion statement. I don’t let myself be restricted of does and don’ts when it comes to my style. For me, the rule is simple; when you feel like wearing it and you have the guts, GO!

Just last Saturday, I attended a movie festival with a friend and her college classmates. I never been out for a while that’s why lately I don’t have an OOTD post.

What I wore during the movie festival is somewhat smart casual since I really don’t know what to wear so I decided to play it safe and plunge into this.

Actually at first,  I don’t remember exactly where I got my attire since those are pieces I used long time ago when online shops are not yet as famous as now. But I can swear that these classic pieces of mine are cheap because I owned those when I was still in college (and no money to throw on anything expensive) and luckily, I can still fit in those outfits until now.

In this look, I got several random items that I can get inside my closet, nothing extravagant but plain and simple (even my overall look… not too much make up).

Blog Bitz Week 4: These Made Me Happy

Too early for a Blog Bitz? Actually not. It should be my last week’s Blog Bitz but since I had a lot of pending posts, I just plan to make this one a little bit late to be distinguish from the one from the other week.

Anyway, I also want to make this regular blog post a little bit defined by having a theme or concept every week which will help me to pick out pictures to feature a little bit easier . And for the first theme of this post, I choose something light, THINGS THAT MADE ME SMILE OR LAUGH. What are your thoughts about it?

It was really hard for me to laugh or smile last week since I’m at the edge of passing everything on time. I hate submitting late that’s why I tried my best to put up everything needed on or before the date given.
But because of my theme for that week’s Blog Bitz I was able to pause for a while and see good things around me. What are those? Just scroll down and you will find out.

SUNDAY: Affordable Cupcakes

Why not?

Sometimes I just crave for something sweet and that Sunday morning, I feel like eating cupcakes. So what I did was to ask my sister to buy me one at the nearby supermarket and fortunately, she agreed. I was expecting for a cupcake which are carefully crafted, with icing and designs and most of all, freshly baked. But she returned home with that pack of 12 dozen assorted cupcakes which are far from my expectations and I have no choice but to eat those for snacks while laughing my heart out. My sister, led me back to my kindergarten years because those are my usual snacks for recess in school.

MONDAY: Never Grow Old with Smurfs

What’s the name of this Smurf?

One of my colleagues showed this mini Smurf toy. That day, I was really tired because of my back logged work during the weekend. Thinking that the Smurf is her niece’s I just took it like, “Oh, that’s cute,” and went back to work. But when she started telling stories on how she got it and confirming that it was hers made me laugh out loud. Thinking, serious people are also fond of children’s toys from kiddie meals. We’re still young at heart.

TUESDAY: Donut for Free

More than laugh, this one drew a genuine smile on my face. I was walking around the covered walk at the school where I am teaching and was heading to the canteen to buy some lunch. I saw this bunch of Grade 6 students preparing their treats for Nutrition Month. They happily greeted me since most of them became my student when they were in grade 3. There was a girl from that batch that was not part of my class, she always smile at me whenever she sees me. I find her very pleasant. Then when I was at their booth and randomly had chit chats with them, this girl told me to get any from their treats. I refused to do so because it was too early then and it was not yet lunch break. But this generous girl insisted and wrapped this doughnut in a paper bag and give it to me. How can I say no to the pure hearted girl?

WEDNESDAY: Fast and Happy Food

Fun food!

I was really tired that Wednesday. I got 4 straight classes and I was also doing special classes in the afternoon. Going home, I thought of having a treat for myself. I just want a little something to make me smile so I took a regular meal at McDonalds. It was heaven for me that time.

THURSDAY: Chinese Food

Yummy!

Yay! I am a Chinese Food lover. I love their different kinds of rice with spices, soups and most especially dimsum. But since I am 24 hrs awake already, I decided to upgrade my meal to this. That was just my lunch and it feels like I can defeat anything else that will come my way! Recharged!

FRIDAY: Peeling Sexy Toes

I took a treatment on my toes last July and the effect of it is the peeling off of dead skin on my toes. Though my toes are peeling, I don’t care that much and went through my regular nail regimen- manicure and pedicure.I got my toes painted with scarlet nail polish as requested by a client for nail modelling and it looks really good. Isn’t it?

SATURDAY: Movie Haul

Free movie from a stranger 🙂

I was invited by a good friend to watch an indie film last Saturday. After the movie, we loiter at the auditorium lobby since celebrities are all around. While waiting for my friend and her classmates, a lady stared at me. After a while, she made a gesture of asking me to come near her. So, I did because she looks decent and doesn’t feel dangerous at all. There she handed me 3 FREE tickets to the next movie that will be screened in few minutes. My companions were shocked upon seeing it. And since I was about to go home that time, I just give it away to my friend’s classmates. That way everyone is happy and the ticket was used properly. Such a nice treat from a stranger right?

It was really a fun week for me despite of the things that I need to finish.

Philippineartisan’s 23rd Birthday Giveaway 1

It’s August once again. I love August for the obvious reason that it is my birthday month. Though very busy, this month makes me excited for the past few years.

Ironically speaking, as a child I remember my birthdays to be sad. I always got misfortunes during my birthday then. August is a rainy season here in the Philippines that’s why when my parents throw me a party during my birthday sit is either no one will come or very few will made it. Same as when I was a teenager, my birthday is always filled with exams and school works, with no time left for me to celebrate. Also there are times that my parents don’t spare me from some punishment during my birthday which made everything worst. That’s why I promise to myself that when I am working already, nothing can stop me from enjoying all the birthdays left for me. I vowed that every year, I will do something new when August comes that will make me better as a person, and I did! Since then, I’ve been discovering a lot about myself as I go through my 20+ age. And now, my bad memories about my birthday turned one by one into something worth waiting for. In one way or another maybe it just depends on my current disposition in life, too be happy and know my limits.

Just this year, I discovered the genuine joy that blogging has to give. It is like an online diary for me in which I can randomly say what I want without people judging me which I actually experienced in some social networking sites. I honestly believed that people in the blog world (as I say it) are decent enough to leave their comments in a subtle manner that makes it more a constructive criticism than a rude judgement. It was never my goal to be a blogger but now, I am one and with that I am very grateful to know more people in the World Wide Web that inspires e to continue to dream big and fulfil those dreams. Nothing is impossible anyway…

With that, I want to give back all those good things that happened, happening and will happen to me as I go through another year of my journey. I been so excited for this giveaway and I hope you are too.

3 in 1 Haul

Is this about coffee? No, it’s not! It is about my haul in 3 different stores last week. It was actually random. I just feel like and then… here it is…

I want to make this one quick and at least a way to tell everyone that “Hey! I’m still alive!” LOL! I’ve been absent on my blog since the week starts, as always. The sentiments of a working girl again…

But to atleast pacify myself from all the things that I am doing which I really don’t know where to start or go about and probably how to finish, I choose to have some haul as an inspiration. Because I lack time to roam around, online shops are heaven for me. From books to beauty items, name it, online stores seems to got it all.

First stop, SampleRoom

I think this is my fourth haul at SampleRoom if I just remember it right. It is quite hard for me to catch up with the available items since I’m always at work. But sometimes, I’m just lucky and that happened last week where a Colours Lipstick in Red Wine was available. And the best thing? This one is free of charge 🙂

I hope to post a review about this soon though I still have a lot of pending post lately. We will see…

Second Stop, Adarna Publishing House

Children Story Books in Filipino

It is so awesome to know that there is a local publishing house for Filipino children that are available online. I got this haul since I am looking for good books to use for my class. Gladly, I got three of their best sellers and award winning children stories in Filipino.

My baby sister, actually, censored all the stories I got. After reading the three, she asked for the two other books and as a big sister and a teacher, seeing her very fond of reading cannot say “no”. At the end, I was left with the only one book- EDSA and the others were hers already. She even said she love the moral lessons and the twist and turns of those stories. So nice to hear from a 7 year old girl! Born to be a book critic…

Third Stop, Robinsons Galleria

I want to stress out. Actually, I want to shop randomly. Anything about kikay stuff… And here are the things I got. My feet led me to the ladies section where I found these. Literally, from head to foot.

I bought items for my nails as the client requested white for my hand nails while, I read Eyah’s (of Eyahnism) post about Bobbie’s Kaleidoscope Nail Polish so I want to give it a try too.

Also, I got some elastic from Goody and a perfect bun molder from  Bests.

I am actually trying to save but still I got these. LOL! Help here… So this was my random haul last week. How about you sweeties? Any haul you want to share? Just comment it down here.
