Unboxing my July 2013 BDJ Box: Focused

As promised, I will publish my unboxing of July 2013 BDJ box this weekend. So here it goes…

2 boxes for July? Oh my!

I received my beauty box last Friday. Last Friday was such a long day for me; I went to research at La Salle for my thesis that’s why I am so tired that afternoon.

I did not personally received the box  but I think mom did. I was just surprised by an unusual height of package on my bed.

So this what was on my bed last Friday afternoon.

Appearance

Recognizing that it is from BDJ team made me wonder and literally, jump for joy. I ran to my mom when I realized that. With astonishment at the unopened package, I went to her saying, “Akin po ba lahat ‘to mommy? Bakit ang laki-laki? ” (Is these all mine? Why it is so big?) Then mom replied, “Palagay ko, pangalan mo yung andyan eh, shunga lang anak?” (I think, your name is what’s written there. Are you crazy my daughter?) That actually made me laugh. My mom really talks that way whenever I ask her questions with obvious answers.

That conversation made me forget that I am tired.

As always, opening packages, doesn’t fail to make me feel giddy. But this time, I open it in front of my mom and all my siblings. Just really like opening a birthday gift for me. Yay!

As I cut the plastic wrap, I can recognize the smell of the first brown and white box. I know that there is something in there which is very familiar to me. And there was also the regular black and pink beauty box that I usually get from BDJ. It actually looks 2 full boxes for me. So wonderful!

Inside the Box

The theme of this month’s box is all about pampering treats. I guess that’s the reason why  BDJ team really made it to the point that we- the Bella’s will surely get the break that we deserve.

As with these July boxes, I opened the brown one first since I already have a hint of what’s inside it. And I was correct! All are Dove products!!!! 8 items from Dove!

So what more can I say, the items are so much from what I expected. Until now, I am really overwhelmed with the July BDJ box.

Based from, Yette’s of Yettezkiedoodle’s unboxing computations of the same box, (sorry, I don’t really want to do the math! LOL!) when you sum up all the items in the package that we received, it would be a total of 3,798.50php!

I guess the freebies don’t look like freebies but can be considered as another beauty box. A full blast of Dove items are really great. What they did with the freebies of July box is actually far from what I can imagine.

Aside from the Dove items, my favourite item from BDJ Box is still there! The 5 stickers that actually boost up my confidence.

My Thoughts

BDJ team really made me feel so special. I am really amazed on the way they put up this month’s box which is something that other beauty boxes would be hard to deal with in terms of quantity, quality and service. But the down side of this, a lot of Bellas might be expecting more from the team as the next month’s box will arrive. So goodluck BDJ team!

Will I Subscribe Again to BDJ Box?

What’s the reason not to? If the BDJ Box for August will satisfy me, I will renew my BDJ Box subscription. And that’s a promise! Yey! July 2013 BDJ Box is so good. Sorry for being so biased, but it is something more than what I expect from a beauty box.
